Italiano – the new album

On his new CD, Nils Mönkemeyer and the ensemble l´arte del mondo are combining Paganini’s Sonata per la Grand ‘Viola with arrangements of cello and bassoon concertos by Antonio Vivaldi and “L’arte del arco” by Giuseppe Tartini. Several world premiere recordings with works by Alessandro Rolla complete the italian baroque compilation. The release date is March 5, the recording is a co-production with WDR Radio Cologne and Sony Classical.
