This month Nils Mönkemeyer is touring all over Germany, in Italy, Austria and for a short visit in Amsterdam. He will perform chamber music in various formations as a trio together with cellist Alban Gerhardt and William Youn as well as with Sabine Meyer. There is an encounter with the Signum Quartet again and in between he is re-invited to play again with  the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn.
On March 29, Nils can be heard with the Chamber Orchestra of Bavarian Radio in his hometown Munich.

January & February 2020

Nils Mönkemeyer will be performing in Reykjavik with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and William Walton’s Viola Concerto in Reykjavik at the end of January – afterwards he can be heard in Spain at the Euskadi Orchestra Bilbao, where he will play the “Sinfonia Concertante” by W.A.Mozart (with the violinist Giulia Brinckmeier) and “Harold in Italy” by Hector Berlioz.
Furthermore, he is also invited to the Orchestra del Teatro Petruzelli in Bari (Italy) and will perform the concerto for viola by Béla Bartók under the direction of John Axlrod.
