“Whispers” new album

Konstantia Gourzi, a composer of Greek origin, living in Munich, has been friends with Nils Mönkemeyer and William Youn for many years. Some of her works were commissioned by the two musicians.
All three have a special love of nature in common, and this becomes particularly clear in the compositions of the recently released album “Whispers” (Sony Classical).
With her music, Konstantia Gourzi wants to convey appreciation and sensitivity for nature and inspire people to think about the beauty of nature. Works with titles like “call of the bees”, “messages between trees” or “melodies from the sea” let us guess stories and voices of whales, bees, waves and trees through expressive sound figures, rhythms, tempi and timbres.
